Music has always been my first love. There isn’t a day that goes by without me listening to it. I attended a few concerts this year but this one i really loved. What I loved is writing this post to tell you about a couple of artists that i’ve discovered and they totally ROCK!

As you know my blog is somewhere where I love to talk about my experiences, I love to share them with you as my readers but it’s also such a great place for me to write about the things I experience and be able to look back on them in the future. So I couldn’t let the opportunity to write this post slip through my fingers. The concert was being held at the Roadtrip and The Workshop in Hoxton, and the band playing was MERCY MODE. They are an independent alternative rock band composed from Chase Coleman (singer and actor in The Originals), Chris Weaver (amazing performance at the guitar) and Micah Parker (drummer and actor in The Vampire Diaries).  The concert was  opened by Darren Campbell (in my opinion a future Ed Sheeran). A scottish young man whose music is unbelievable and clean to the year.

There were a lot of special moments during the concert, one of my favorites was when Chris and Chase went into the crowd and performed acoustic versions of ‘Smells like teen Spirit’ by Nirvana and ‘Summer of 69’ by Brian Adams. I was in my happy place at there every performance as I think most of the audience were as well. There was so much emotion in so many of their songs and the way they performed them was just amazing.

This was such an incredible experience, a night that I’ll never forget. The guys from Mercy Mode band i knew them before from some of the conventions and concerts that they did around the world, so it was already a friendship between us as we knew each other. As for Darren, i’m very happy i met him and i totally recommend him to you guys, to listen to his music. I’m 100% sure that you will love it.

This guys definitely set the bar high for the other concerts that i have coming up this year.

I’ll leave you with some awesome pics that i took over the night.
